Loudermilk Family • Sneak Peek!
This mommy son duo did a fantastic job for their session! They shared lots of giggles and smiles with me to make this a great shoot!
When we arrived at The Park at Flat Rock for our session it was very windy, and getting colder by the minute. As we quickly walked through the park we talked a bit about the photos they were looking for. Nolan wanted lots of fun photos with sticks and Santa hats, while Mom wanted natural photos of the two of them playing and sitting together.
When settled into our nook in the park, Nolan was cold and wasn’t very excited to take his jacket off, but he is the sweetest little boy, so he agreed! He gladly smiled at me, made silly faces, let Mommy tickle him, and even gave up a few of his sweet kisses for her!
After a few minutes we broke for some play time. Nolan went directly to a small pile of sticks to pick out his favorite. As he ran and played I captured a few shots of him running into his Mommy’s arms. It was so sweet!
Once he ran some of his energy out I pulled out the Santa and elf hats. Nolan loved this idea and was happy to put a Santa hat on, but insisted that Mommy needed an elf hat! What a kid! We captured some sweet shots of them with the hats, and then also of Nolan writing his wish list to Santa. These were very sweet photos that I can see being in a holiday album for years.
As we neared the end of the session Nolan was ready to play again. He climbed a tree, played stick swords with Mommy, and made designs in the grass with his favorite stick.
As you can see, Nolan and Julie did a phenomenal job for their photo session! Thank you for asking me to capture these moments!
